With a fresh mix of original and cover songs ranging from Japanese bossa nova to cherished Hawaiian classics to sultry jazz ballads, the challenge was in creating a visual identity that represented diverse genres and eras, yet still very connected to Hawaii. Ultimately, I wanted the art to express the group’s vibrant friendship and creative flow while remaining accessible to their global fanbase. Geometric shapes and retro inspired gradients playfully nod to the bossa nova album covers of the 70’s.
