Style Council
Staging & Design

Visual identity, website design, print collateral, copywriting

Intro

Style Council Staging & Design is a B2B company that provides staging and interior design solutions for residences on Oahu, Hawaii. Since their inception in 2022, demand for their services has exploded thanks to their fast turnaround, fresh aesthetic, reliability, and customer service.

Overview

At the two-year mark, the business was experiencing growing pains. Urgent requests and last-minute changes required constant coordinating with the owner, realtors, homeowners, and staff. Inquiries and referrals all went to the owner directly, mainly through DMs, causing an intake bottleneck. And though Hawaii's market is consistently strong, the company wanted to be prepared for slower seasons.

After extensive discussion and research, we came up with the following bespoke solutions:

→ Showcase Style Council’s distinctive value proposition with considered branding.

→ Prioritize both existing and new clients with business cards (with QR code) and an online intake form that organizes new inquiries and streamlines scheduling.

→ A clear, user-friendly website with an organized gallery for younger realtors who prefer digital communications. Custom designed in Webflow.

→ Print collateral: inventory lists and invoice templates to streamline operations in-person meetings.

The goal was to elevate the brand to reflect its high quality product offerings, which opens up the possibility of increasing rates to put towards growth and contingency. Above all, we wanted to imbue the new brand identity with sincerity and trust, where customers can expect exceptional service.

Logomark

The logomark is composed of a two-dimensional monogram connecting the “S” and “C” in the negative space to represent “Style Council”.

It evokes movement, flow, light and shadow—important elements to home staging and design. The curvatures connote the leaves of the many plants that Style Council incorporates into their design. The mark stands tall yet feminine.

Logotype

Based off the Granville typeface, this wordmark is structured and elegant, and is reminiscent of French displays from the mid-1900s. The diagonal strokes of the “Y” and “N” have been replaced with curved strokes, a subtle yet significant touch to complete the look.
