Visual identity, LP and CD album art design
In 2017, Cynthia Lin participated in the 100 days project, recording a cover daily and sharing them on her platforms to encourage others to learn and play the ukulele. After amassing a collection of intimate, stripped-down home recordings, she reached out to me to design the album art for a release of her favorite arrangements.
Together we came up with the album name “Ukulele Days,” and honed in on a concept that reflects the organic, uplifting, introspective nature of this collection. The image of blossoming flora represents the inner artist in all of us. It grows as it pleases and cannot be contained. Ukulele Days landed on the Billboard’s Jazz and World charts.
